There seems to be a lot of questions regarding intermittent fasting up on the forum but I’ll throw another one at you. I’m currently doing 5 days of fasting Monday through Friday and then my reefed day is on Saturday. On Saturday I do my long run of the week were I’m burning anywhere between 2500 to 3000 calories. I try and eat a ton that day but should I be switching my reefed day to Sunday to get a benefit? Also is there a certain calorie intake or certain foods to eat on these reefed days?

Was there anything that you guys didn’t agree with from JC’s interview last week or is there anything you would add?

In reference to Iron Distance racing, there is a ton of articles for pre race, racing, nutrition, and what you might expect and what you should consider doing. But there is no information, from what I can find, about what to you might experience right after you cross the finish line of a 140.6. Using Bens instructions, I initially got a running LT of 180. Two months later I tested again and got 183. So far so good right? Three days later, I tested again and got 188 (and took 30 sec off of my mile time). Seems a bit high but this morning I time trialed again (two days after the last TT) and got 188 again and took another 30 sec off my mile time. Now Im confused. Is my running LT 188 or 183?
