Here is a picture of me just stepping down from the podium at the Rattlesnake Olympic Distance Triathlon (8/20/11) in Aurora, Colorado (photo courtesy of fellow Rock Star, Jeff Meador). I was third in the men’s 55-59 age group. This was the first time I’ve been able to get back on the podium in 5 years. I credit you guys — thanks. I knocked 6 minutes off the time I did at this very same race in 2006.

I just completed my first race of the season after struggling with some offseason injuries and an early season accident where I was struck by a car on my bike.
